Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 21, 2026

CatAdviceHub (catadvicehub.com) writes about cat behavior, care, senior cats, products and books, and some of the links on this site are affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works, so there are no surprises.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a regular link with a tracking code attached. If you click through and buy something, the merchant pays us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra: the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not.

Amazon Associates

CatAdviceHub is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

Prices and availability on Amazon change often, so we don’t quote exact prices. Always check the current price on Amazon before you buy.

How we choose what to recommend

Affiliate income does not change what we recommend. We start from what veterinary and welfare organizations say a cat needs, compare products against that, and only recommend things we would consider for our own cat. If a product has a drawback, we say so, even if we earn a commission on it.

We don’t accept paid placements, sponsored reviews, or free products in exchange for coverage. You can read more in our Editorial Standards.

FTC compliance

This disclosure is provided in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). When a link on this site leads to a product we may earn a commission on, you can assume it is an affiliate link unless we say otherwise. Pages with affiliate links also carry a short disclosure near the top.
